What is the EUDI Wallet?
The European Digital Identity Wallet is a secure mobile application that lets EU citizens store and share verifiable credentials—such as identity documents, diplomas, and employment certificates—without uploading documents to third parties.
How do I use this at a charging station?
Open your EUDI Wallet and select the EV Charging Credential. Tap the NFC symbol or scan the QR code on any ChargeIT terminal. The station verifies your credential and starts charging automatically—no app sign-in required.
What data is shared when I charge?
Only a cryptographic proof that you hold a valid credential is shared. No personal data (name, employer, etc.) is sent to the charging network during use—only during initial issuance.
